What is a homeowners association?
Homeowners associations – HOAs for short – are private organizations that oversee the management of some residential communities. Properties within an HOA are governed by a collective set of rules known as covenants and bylaws that are enforced by the association. HOAs are typically run by resident homeowners, unpaid volunteers who are elected to a board of directors that oversees the HOA’s management. Each property owner is required to pay HOA dues.
What do my dues cover?
HOA dues cover the upkeep of common areas and expenses such as accounting services, HOA insurance, social events, web hosting, and postage
What does “commons area” refer to?
A commons area is an area of property intended to be shared by the members of the HOA. If you wold like information on the commons areas of Northridge Heights, please go to the Contact Us page and ask for a map.
I am not able to attend a meeting but would like to vote; what can I do?
Please fill out a proxy form. This document will authorize another Northridge Heights homeowner or the HOA board members to vote on your behalf. The proxy can be accessed from the Documents page.
I do not have a copy of the covenants or by-laws. How can I obtain these?
Please go to the Documents menu and click the appropriate button to download a copy.
I have a suggestion or comment for the HOA; how do I submit that?

I have a complaint about a violation of the neighborhood covenants; who do I contact?
We would encourage you to speak to your neighbor directly; often, a friendly, respectful conversation can remedy any issues. If you have done that and the problem persists, please submit a complaint form found on the Documents page.
